Test Result “Good” for WZS 100 H Heat Station

The examiners of Stiftung Warentest, the leading German consumer protection and product testing organisation, compared a total of ten brine-water heat pumps from well-known European manufacturers for the June edition of test magazine.

Four devices received the overall verdict of “good”, among them the WZS 100 H Heat Station from Alpha-InnoTec. Six further devices were found to be satisfactory.

The examination focused on compact devices with integrated domestic hot water storage. The Heat Station scored particularly well because of its high energy efficiency. In conjunction with a surface heating system the WZS 100 H achieves an annual energy efficiency ratio of 4.7, a result no other manufacturer could top.

The device also shone because of its good sound proofing, and, as under this test criterion, only a few competitors managed to keep up in the handling category.

Stiftung Warentest rated the Alpha-InnoTec heat pump’s ease of use as very good. The product testers also awarded the verdict “very good” for installation and commissioning as well as service and maintenance.

In the test summary the testers of the consumer protection organisation also praised the heat pump’s very good build quality.

The WZS 100 H Heat Station from Alpha-InnoTec requires no more floor space than a washing machine and handles both heating and domestic hot water supply. The heat pump is optionally available with an integrated cooling function.
