Heat source air

In general, external air is used as heat source for air/water heat pumps. For industrial and production plants there is also the possibility of using room air or extracted air. However, the use of room or extracted air is to be discussed with our technicians prior to the installation.

Using room air as heat source makes sense for business enterprises possessing huge amounts of temperatured extracted air or in case that the rooms need some cooling. It is not allowed to use ammoniac or chemical polluted air (e.g. stable extrated air).

The huge advantage of air/water heat pumps are furthermore the low development costs and their easy calculation. You do not need any permission for using the air. Air/water heat pumps can be installed inside or outside the house. The internal installation needs air ducts for supply and removal of the external air. The external installations needs less space; please see our installation instruction (to avoid disturbance through acoustic emissions).
