Ground
The ground is storing the environmental heat seasonal that means over a longer period of time. This leads to the fact, that the heat source "ground" has around the same temperature level throughout the year and also posesses a satisfying coefficient of performance.
For using the heat stored in the ground, you can apply ground loops or vertical boreholes.
The heat is adapted by a heating circuit (brine water circuit) that passes again the heat on to the working medium of the heat pump.
