HEAT PUMPS WITH NATURAL REFRIGERANT SINCE 1998

The fathers of alpha innotec, Artur Rodecker and Heinz Weggel, never got bogged down, but focused exclusively on the development of innovative and climate-friendly heat pumps with a clear view to the future. In doing so, they were ahead of their time. In 1998, the year they were founded, they were the first German manufacturer to launch heat pumps with the climate-neutral refrigerant propane in series production.

Today, alpha innotec is a brand of ait-deutschland GmbH, which, with its 1400 employees, is one of Europe's leading manufacturers of heat pumps. And we are still living the pioneering spirit from our beginnings. The heat pump is mature, but its possibilities are far from exhausted.

Because we firmly believe that we can make the world a better place with our heat pumps. We firmly believe that practically all buildings - from single-family homes to residential districts and industrial complexes - can be heated and cooled comfortably, efficiently and cleanly by using natural energy from the air, earth and water.

Heating consumes by far the most energy in our households and therefore accounts for a large proportion of CO2 emissions. With a heat pump heating system, you can make a significant contribution to climate protection, make yourself independent of fossil fuels and also save money in conjunction with a PV system on the roof. The higher the proportion of renewable energy in your electricity mix, the cheaper it is to operate your heat pump.

The Kulmbach region, where we are based, is an important European heat pump stronghold. Since 1998, we have been actively shaping structural change and the transformation to a fossil-free future with our alpha innotec brand, thereby creating highly qualified, secure jobs.

alpha innotec is made in Germany

Since 2011, ait-deutschland has been part of the Swedish NIBE Group. As a result, we benefit from considerable synergy effects around our core topic: energy-efficient systems for climate-friendly heating and cooling of buildings. Our heat pumps are developed and produced exclusively at our headquarters in Kasendorf, Upper Franconia. We are firmly rooted in our region. Thanks to substantial investments in our research and development center and in our production capacities, we are contributing to sustainable growth in Europe and especially in Germany. Future-proof and qualified jobs are created both in our plants and in the supplier industry in the surrounding area.

"Made in Germany" means short transportation routes, guaranteed compliance with all environmental and occupational safety standards and high energy efficiency in production. We think and live sustainability in all its dimensions.

Europe-wide, nationwide distribution

The alpha innotec systems are sold, designed and installed for end customers by trained specialist installers. We support planning and architectural offices, property developers, prefabricated house manufacturers, local authorities and the housing industry with our own sales and service team in the development of energy concepts for the refurbishment of existing buildings and the heat supply of new housing estates and neighborhoods.
