Energy consumption significantly reduced

TERRACED HOUSE BUILT IN 1996 WITH INDOOR AIR HEAT PUMP

Houseowner Wolfgang Andrä:

"Before, I used around 9000 kilowatt hours of gas and 2900 kilowatt hours of electricity per year. Now it's like this: with my photovoltaic system on the roof and my heat pump, I only have an additional electricity consumption of 1800 kilowatt hours , nothing else."

Paros 4

INDOOR AIR/WATER HEAT PUMP

In 2023, Wolfgang Andrä from Weimar decided to replace the gas heating in his end-terrace house, built in 1996, with the Paros 4 heat pump from alpha innotec installed indoors. He was initially met with a great deal of skepticism, as the building had no underfloor heating. Some heating engineers also advised against it.

Fortunately, he got to know the experienced heat pump installer Stefan Schellenberg. He recognized the newly introduced Paros 4 air/water heat pump as the perfect heating solution for the building.

It is now clear that the heat pump can comfortably heat the terraced house via the existing radiators. Together with his photovoltaic system, the homeowner saves a significant amount of energy for his household.

And the family in the house next door, who had the same heat pump system installed, are also very satisfied with the performance and low energy consumption of the Paros.

"A normal air/water heat pump for outdoor installation would certainly not have worked here in the densely built-up residential area. I was lucky that I met alpha innotec at the trade fair and that they were presenting this Paros heat pump."
